Avery is 4 Months Old Today!

First we started the day by showing off our super cute Froggy Pajamas!

Really could these feet get any cuter?

And then we celebrated in our big bow and brand new Padres jacket!

Avery and Grammy discussed which Hairston brother is their favorite...

But no matter how much baseball we talked we couldn't coax a smile out of this little girl!

But when you're this adorable in your pink Padres gear you don't have to smile to get ooh'd and aah'd all over = )

Avery celebrated the big 4 month mark with a milkshake while the adults celebrated with delicious mini-cupcakes!

These 4 months have been amazing and we are blessed with one adorable little angel!

Welcome Baby Cassidy!

I gave Siera 2 weeks before I made sure I got my hands on Baby Cassidy = )  And it was torture waiting that long!  She is super sweet and adorable!  It has only been 4 months but I can't believe Avery was ever that small!

I can't wait to go shopping for some sweet little baby clothes for Cassidy!

Multiple Outfit Mondays

Bri Bri got that right...I am definitely the Cutest Catch!

And one more I didn't get pictures of!  We had a messy Monday!

Saturday Travis and I bought Avery several new pajamas since she has outgrown all of her 3-6 month old ones.  Silly us, we bought her new ones in the 6-9 month size and will be returning half of them for 9 month size since she is almost too long for the 6 month!  I can't wait to get her new stats at her 4 month Dr. Appt!

We received this book by Gymboree as a gift from the Daly Family and have been introducing Avery to a new game every night as part of our evening routine!  We're all about maximizing Avery's potential = )  These are pictures from Tummy Bolster on page 71...building upper-body strength.

That was a lot of work...maybe we should stand for a bit...

A little something else I've recently learned from Baby Play - Avery loves looking in mirrors now and I was wondering if she realizes that it is her reflection...  Answer:  She doesn't yet understand that the reflection in the mirror is her, and won't until she is fifteen to eighteen months old.  Who knew!  15 to 18 months old!

We Call This The Parenthesis

This is Avery's favorite move = ) About 5% of the time she actually rolls over onto her tummy but the other 95% of the time her one arm gets in the way! So...she spends much of her day happy to be in her parenthesis ; )

I also think these pictures are fantastic b/c they really showcase just how tall her crazy hair goes!




This is as close as she gets to tummy time these days now that she's a pro at rolling from her tummy to her back. I think she'll be rolling all over the place in no time = )
