HCG levels

Looking good! Just rec'd another good phone call from the nurse confirming that my HCG levels are doubling as they should = ) The pregnancy hormones are working and (knock on wood) I don't have any unfortunate symptoms yet!

Baby Belly - 5 weeks

Baby is approximately the size of an appleseed! Starting to look like a tadpole and forming major organs (heart, kidney, liver, stomach) and systems (nervous, circulatory, digestive).
I just booked our first ultrasound for Wednesday, May 6th!!

Week 5

I had my first Dr appt yesterday confirming the pregnancy and running blood tests, etc. Everything looks good but there are definitely still concerns since it is so early in the pregnancy. We are going to wait to share the good news with family until we get the results back from yesterday and tomorrow's blood tests. Hopefully by Friday we will have some good news on my hormone levels = ) Time to start working on my weekend cover story...I am off to Houston to celebrate my cousin Brindley's Baby Shower! I can't wait to meet little Dalton...but it is definitely going to be torture to keep my secret over the weekend. Plus LP and I are going to celebrate our birthdays Friday...how do you do that without at least a glass of wine ; )

Friday, April 24th....this is the day that Travis and I learned that we are expecting a little bundle of joy! Unfortunately I took the test after Travis had left for work and had to suffer thru the entire day waiting for him to get home to share the news.
