Baby Stats!

Looks like we've spent the last 2 months trying to grow out instead of up!  Avery had a fantastic 6 Month appt today with Dr. Crocetti = )  She is one happy and healthy baby!  We are just about ready to start sitting up on our own and unfortunately for Mommy and Daddy we are also about ready to start crawling.  We have all the parts working but just haven't pieced them together yet. 

Here are Avery's new Stats:

6 Months:
Height - 26 1/2 inches (67th percentile)
Weight - 15.6 pounds (33rd percentile)

Previous Stats...

4 Months:
Height - 25 1/2 inches (81st percentile)
Weight - 13.2 pounds (28th percentile)

2 Month Stats:
Height - 23 3/4 inches (81st percentile)
Weight - 11 pounds (36th percentile)

Daddy / Daughter time...

Avery may have grown to like peas...but she loves green beans!  We introduced the delicious green beans yesterday and Avery couldn't get enough of them = )

Daddy has been out of town for work so Avery and I have gotten in some fabulous girlie time!  We watched Valentine's Day together, got in a couple of picnics in the back yard, and play play play time = )

After some research we decided to start Avery off in the world of vegetables with...PEAS!  I tasted it - not delicious - but she loved it = )  You can watch her first reaction...not so sure what we just put in her mouth...but by the end she scarfed down the entire bowl!

Albuquerque Fit

Today I ran 5 miles with Avery in her jogging stroller!!!  I joined ABQ Fit a little while back to train for a half marathon (ie - lose my baby weight) and today was the first time I brought Avery along for the ride.  We did an amazing run along Tramway - gorgeous views of the mountains to the East, city views to the West.  The first 2.5 miles were easy...little did I know that was b/c the wind was behind me!  The moment we turned around for the return trip the fun really began = )  Avery was amazing...just enjoyed the view of runners and cyclists the entire time.  We even ran into the Goodwins at mile 4 when crossing an intersection!  Perfect timing to give me a little extra boost to finish the run - and by run I mean very slow jog ; )

An extra huge thank you to Shae, Emily, and Bri (and your respective men) for the amazing jogging stroller!  It is one smooth ride!

So Sweet

Avery loves her new ladybug dress from Mutti and Aunt Staci...but she was so excited to have it on that she wouldn't put down her arms or legs for a picture!

Shameless Travis...shameless...

Avery is ready to get this Jogging Stroller business started!  She doesn't quite fit yet but that's nothing the Hugga-Bebe can't fix!  We call it her little green clam shell but it definitely makes jumping, swinging, and now jogging much easier = )  Fabulous purchase Grammy Joyce!

Averyisms - 5 Months

1.  You find sneezing hilarious!  Even a fake sneeze can elicit a good giggle = )

2.  You love to laugh at Remi...especially when he shakes his toys at you!

3.  When you are really tired you rub your little eyes and pull on your left ear.

4.  You love to pop out your binky and chew on its sides...very entertaining!

5.  I feel bad laughing but if we startle you the lower lip immediately pops out and starts to quiver.  It is the official sign of imminent crying = )

My Favorite Part of the Work Day...

I'll be working on my computer and all of a sudden notice that the room got quiet...

Look up from the computer and see this sweet little face just staring at me = )

And of course the moment I glance her way I get the gift of a huge smile!

Getting Ready for the Next Milestone

Avery is getting ready to try her first vegetable!  She wants all of her blog friends to participate in this major milestone = )  Vote on which veggie should be her introduction to the world of solid foods:
