Things you should know about Avery...

1. She has quite the grip! Mommy now has to wear her hair up or else Avery finds her fists full of blonde hair = )

2. She gives a new meaning to milk mustache! I now know what happens when you make a baby smile while chowing down on some delicious breast milk. She had milk streaming down her face but the smile was priceless = )

3. And Avery's #1 dislike - the in between boobies burp (sorry, that's what I call it ; ). She knows there is more to come so why are you making her wait. She has normal 'hunger' cries and 'tired' cries...but you know its the 'in between boobies burp' anger when you hear the high pitched squeal of displeasure ; ) Sometimes its so high you'd think only Remi could hear it...

Have a great weekend! Av and I are going shopping for new clothes with some Easter money she received from Great-Gramma = ) Avery will have some new outfits for her first trip to California!! Hope we were allowed to open the Easter package early...haha!

Avery - The Working Girl

After a solid 8 hours of sleep last night...Avery is still managing to nap the day away today! Hopefully I can get her programmed to think that the day doesn't start until 3pm ; ) Big plans this afternoon...I get to pick up my bridesmaid dress from the seamstress!! I can't wait to try it on again - Av and I are getting way too excited about Denno's upcoming wedding!

Back To Work...

And since I may not be able to blog as often I figured I should at least add another video of Av. Please note that it is hard to record her while trying to get her to smile ; ) That said - excuse the fact that she ends up on the left side of the screen most of the time and that I apparently cannot get her to smile without using my embarrassing Avery voice.

Also, a shout out to Baby Liesl who was born today - Congrats Em and Jerh!! She is adorable and we cannot wait to meet her = )

Fighter By Day...Sleeping Beauty By Night

Our little one loves to fight sleep during the day. She will fight it and fight it until the last lid drops ; ) However...last night Av went 9 hours between feedings!! I'm not holding my breath for a repeat, but my jaw dropped when I looked at the clock and realized we had made it the entire night!

On the other hand - 9 hours is a long time for this kid to go without nursing, haha! Everything is getting washed today...bra...t-shirt...sheets...

Chest Hair! Avery packs some power in that left arm and unfortunately for Travis...she can now grip and pull out chest hair! My Dad - PapaDoc - is coming into town tomorrow morning, consider yourself warned ; )

Mutti bought Avery this outfit before we knew we were having a girl! She just knew we were having a little princess and 'put her money where her mouth was'. Avery looks pretty adorable in her Disney World outfit (she doesn't fit into the bloomers just yet...)
