A Week in California

Good to know we have a fantastic little flier on our hands! Avery was such a good baby during this entire trip = ) And I am now a professional traveler with baby! I learned all the techniques for getting through security, keeping a baby happy during the flight, and even how to change a diaper at 30,000 feet! We did have a bit of excitement on our way out to Cali...we ended up doing a few circles in the air due to the earthquake in Northern Mexico! All we were told was that LAX tower had been evacuated and that we may have to stop in Phoenix to replenish fuel...aaah! Luckily the delay was very short and we made it to LAX almost on time.

While in Westlake Village Av and I met up with my amazing friends Jen and Nathan to get our babies together for their first (of many) play dates! It was love at first sight...prepare yourself - the play date was too cute for words! I'll try to download the video tonight, but until then you can enjoy the first pics of baby love!

This handsome young lad is Jasper - or Jazzy - as it absolutely fits his flirty little personality = ) Jazzy is a mere 20 days older than Avery...

We had an amazing time celebrating the marriage of Denning and Tony! Although Avery did not join us for the actual wedding, she did enjoy a fabulous rehearsal and rehearsal dinner = ) She even got in some tips from the flower girls!

Avery's First Easter!

Avery will begin her first Easter here in ABQ and end it in Westlake Village, CA! We are taking off on our first travel adventure = ) Hopefully I have a baby that loves to fly! Monday thru Wednesday I will be working in the Dole WLV office while Avery plays with her amazing Cali babysitters...Grammy & Grampa! Then Thursday thru Saturday we will be doing all things fabulous and girlie as we prepare for Denning & Tony's wedding! Avery can't wait for all the fun and of course all of the dressing up = ) I won't be able to post next week while we are away so here are a few pictures in case you need an Avery fix during the week ; )

She now does it regularly but I can't believe we were actually recording the first time she made a 'toot' noise with her mouth! (And yes, its called a toot when a cute little baby passes gas ; )
