The twins' hearing is getting better and they can actually start to react to loud noises.  At this stage, the babies' oil glands are starting to form = )

And I thought you should all see what was going on while I was trying to take my belly picture today.

How can I compete with the adorable, shirtless, shoe on the wrong foot toddler running around and giggling at my feet!

Pool Time!!!

Jayden & Cassidy came over one afternoon to get in some pool time!

We had so much fun breaking in my new hippo pools!

Jayden especially took advantage of the 'big' pool by entertaining us with his amazing jumps = )

I'm apparently getting more practical (and expensive) with age = )  This 30 year old just got new granite countertops in her kitchen, guest bathroom, and master bathroom as her birthday present!  Maybe old age isn't really so bad ; )

Baby Belly - 19 Weeks

At this point Baby A is 10 ounces and Baby B is weighing in at 9 ounces!  Vernix, the protective creamy white substance has begun to form around babies' bodies.  The twins are able to swallow amniotic fluid and their kidneys have started to produce urine!  The twins permanent teeth buds are forming at this time as well.

The Gender Celebration!

Baby Belly - 18 Weeks

By this week the twins vocal cords are formed and babies lungs have begun exhaling amniotic fluid.

Pretty exciting morning already!  The whole family went on a dog park excursion (the dog park just might be Avery's happy place...so many 'Arfs') and then a quick jaunt to the park right next door to get in some slides and swings = )  And this morning Travis made us chocolate croissants from scratch - and by scratch I mean from Trader Joe's = )  Delicious!  Happy Sunday!

Leggo My Eggo

Confession - I regress back to my college eating habits when pregnant...breakfast for every meal.  And yes, Eggo waffles may make an appearance the occasional morning = )  But now I have a little toddler that always steals my Eggo!

She may look innocent, but that waffle was just on MY plate!

Okay, that's adorable...I forgive you ; )

Avery's 15 Month Checkup...

We just made it to the Dr. today for Avery's 15 Month appt.  Yes...she is well over 16 months old now, haha.  Better late than never - I was out of town most of April and that is my scheduling excuse = )

So here are the new stats!!

Height:  32 inches - 78th percentile

Weight:  23.6 pounds - 51st percentile

Healthy, Happy Toddler!
